May 20 was planting day. Garden Co-ordinator Vesna Fa led the work bee and each student was able to choose seeds to plant.
The rain on the weekend was the perfect start for the garden.

This is the first time high school students have partnered with Midwest Food Resources in this way. Teacher Rhea Good organized the venture. Students in the Functional Integrated Program will be the main workers in the garden. Other classes may also lend a hand for weeding and harvesting.
