Bailey Rudoski and Jodi Kozan's presentation in Blaine Lake touched the lives of many women in attendance.

Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel hosted a ladies' brunch May 11. The organizational committee did a commendable job on decorations, seating arrangements and bountiful food items.

Bailey Rudoski of Faith Alive Band of Saskatoon blessed the 55 women in attendance with her gift of song. Bailey performed numerous musical selections, which she had written, while accompanied either on piano or guitar.

The women enjoyed fellowship along with the spectacular brunch prepared by the volunteer event planners.

Jodi Kozan is the founder and president of Women's Journey of Faith, which was established in 1999. She is a speaker and writer and has made many public appearances sharing her vision and experiences across Canada and was even interviewed on the 100 Huntley Street program.

"My ministry is for the love of women," commented Jodi, "I have a great concern for them and for the restoration of women. I have the passion for sharing the good news of Jesus. I want to see women being the best they can be. I want to see unity in church, to see people get into a relationship with God and each other.

Jodi began her presentation emphasizing the importance for women to nurture one another, to worship together in music and to enjoy fellowship times together. Her passion was so evident that it literally was able to flow from within herself into the soul of each and every woman in attendance.

Jodi shared her life story with the audience - the struggles, challenges, decisions she made before she was brought to the Lord. She shared the miraculous experience of what happened and how she felt that specific evening as she cradled her firstborn in her arms. As she proclaimed her love for Him, she was enveloped in a bright light in an otherwise dark nursery and the soothing yet glorious sound of a chorus of angels singing. The sharing of the experience was uplifting and emotional.

"We are all created to nurture and created for community," commented Jodi. "The local church is the gathering place, a place where we should form healthy relationships."

Jodi encourages women to have faith. Have strong faith where the overwhelming and impossible become possible. She encourages women to break out of their comfort zones and trust in the Lord and their intuition, to strengthen their family circle and be world changers.

"The seeds of faith have been planted in your life; nurture them, allow them to grow and flourish and share with others," commented Jodi.

Jodi concluded by expressing the growing need for our society to value intergenerational bonds and ministry. She emphasized the importance of family ministering to each other and for women to spiritually mentor one another.

"Look after the needs of the hungry, He wants us to use our nurturing ability to help others," commented Jodi, explaining the term hungry does not necessarily refer to food to eat but can refer to food for the soul, listening to someone, sharing a book, opening a door, etc.

The four-hour event consisting of Bailey's musical talent and Jodi's inspiring presentation touched the lives of the women in attendance.
