Over the years Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation’s Ladies’ Night has grown to be an incredibly popular event.
“Shine Bright Like a Diamond and Wear Your Little White Dress” Ladies’ Night is set to take place Friday, Oct. 20, at the Gold Ridge Centre in North Battleford. It is one of a number of fundraisers put on by the BUHF, with a different theme each year.
Executive Director Claudette McGuire says, “Thank you to No Frills for once again providing the desserts which are sure to be savoured.”
There will be entertainment as well.
“The ladies will certainly enjoy being entertained by comedian Sean Lecomber who was the winner of the 2007 Just for Laughs homegrown competition which is awarded each year to Canada’s best new comic,” says McGuire. “He also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
Fundraising efforts will be supported through silent auctions, raffles, and the chance to win a diamond ring, courtesy of Zeke’s Jewellers, says McGuire.
“The fun and smiles of the evening will be captured in the form of selfies!” she adds. “Ladies will finish the night dancing with music... and more selfies!”
Tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 28 and are available at the BUH Foundation office or by calling 306-446-6652.
