G & C Asphalt Ltd. continues to support Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation's Festival of Trees Ladies' Night as the silver sponsor.

This is the fourth year G & C Asphalt Ltd. has sponsored event, but their generosity to BUH Foundation goes back to over 12 years with their continued commitment and support of enriching patient care through the purchase of medical equipment and funding of staff education at BUH.

BUH Foundation's 2012 Festival of Trees fundraising efforts have been allocated to purchase a new defibrillator for the emergency room and an ECH machine for the lab. This equipment is vital in ensuring and sustaining the health of patients in critical situations.

"The 2011 Ladies Night was a very successful fundraising evening, and with G & C Asphalt's continued support the 2012 Ladies' Night is sure to be as successful" acknowledged Deb Wohlberg and Joelle Kuntz, chairs of Ladies' Night.

Paul and Diane Gervais founded G & C Asphalt Ltd. in Alberta in 1977 and moved the company home to North Battleford in 1984. Paul continues to work with the company as a general manager and is working directly with the area manager Ryan Moe. G & C Asphalt Ltd. is a family and community oriented business, the Gervais say they are proud to give back to the community they serve.

BUH Foundation's Festival of Trees Ladies' Night will be held at the Gold Ridge Centre on Friday, Nov. 30 starting at 5 p.m.
