Loud parties, impaired drivers and unruly drunks

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 50 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, April 4 and 6 a.m. Saturday, April 5, including four nuisance/false 911 calls. Friday 6:32 a.m. - Complaint of a loud party on the 1500 block of 105th Street.

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 50 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, April 4 and 6 a.m. Saturday, April 5, including four nuisance/false 911 calls.

Friday

6:32 a.m. - Complaint of a loud party on the 1500 block of 105th Street. Property rep was spoken to and warned.

7:20 a.m. - Report of an erratic driver on Highway 4 north bound into North Battleford. Police patrols for the vehicle were unable to locate it.

7:49 a.m. - Report of an abandoned vehicle on Pioneer Avenue. Investigation revealed the vehicle was broken down and being repaired.

9:19 a.m. - Report of theft on 800 block of 108th Street. 51-year-old male victim reports that while socializing with friends one of them took his cell phone. Alcohol is a factor and investigation is on going.

9:30 a.m. - Police recovered a stolen vehicle located in the 1800 block of 100th Street. Vehicle had been reported stolen out of Saskatoon. Vehicle was towed for police examination and further investigation. Registered owner has been notified.

10:11 a.m. - Report that victim's vehicle had been rummaged through sometime during the night on the 1300 block of 109th Street.

10:20 a.m. - Report of hit and run on Territorial Drive.

11:43 a.m. - Report of a break and enter on the 1200 block of 99th Street. Unknown perpetrator(s) broke into the residence and cause a significant amount of damage. Homeowner is not sure at this time what, if any items have been stolen. Police investigation is ongoing.

2:00 p.m. - 34-year-old female complainant attended RCMP Detachment to report that her 31-year-old brother threatened to slap her. Complainant wishes police to investigate and lay charges. File is being investigated.

3:27 p.m. - Report of theft of gas occurred at a gas bar on Railway Avenue. Vehicle is described as a brown Toyota Corolla. A licence plate was obtained and police are investigating.

3:45 p.m. - Report of a house fire on the 2400 block of 100th Street. Police fire and ambulance all dispatched. Police and Fire are still investigating

5:15 p.m. - Report of several intoxicated males on the 1000 block of 101st Street getting into a vehicle. Police investigation resulted in a 39-year-old man being arrested for impaired driving. Charges have been laid and the 39-year-old man was released for court.

5:52 p.m. - Report of a missing 13-year-old girl. Complainant went to pick the youth up from school and the youth was not at school. The youth was located by police and returned home.

6:40 p.m. - Report of an erratic driver on Territorial Drive near King Hill. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

7:33 p.m. - Report of 13-year-old missing youth on the 1700 block of 110th Street. The youth was located by police and returned.

9:55 p.m. - Report of a small grass fire near 800 block of 109th Street. Fire had been extinguished before police and fire arrived.

10:11 p.m. - Report of a very intoxicated man on 101st Street 900 block exposing himself. 77-year-old man arrested and charged. The man has been remanded for court Monday, April 7.

11:22 p.m. - Report of two intoxicated men arguing and attempting to fight on 101 Street 1100 block. Police attended and resolved the issue. Both men departed.

11:42 p.m. - Report of unwanted intoxicated persons at residence on the 1600 block of 101st Street. Subjects departed on their own prior to police arriving.

11:45 p.m. - Report of an unwanted intoxicated 19-year-old man at a residence located on 15th Avenue who had been threatening to harm himself. Police attended and arrested the man and he was held in custody until sober. Police took the man to hospital for examination where he was released.

Saturday

12:03 a.m. - Report of an unwanted intoxicated 33-year-old man destroying residence on the 1800 block of 101st Street. Police attended and found the man is on probation with conditions for no alcohol. The subject was arrested and held in custody.

12:43 a.m. - Report of missing 14-year-old male youth. Youth was later located by family.

12:47 a.m. - Report of unwanted intoxicated guests at a house party on the 800 block of 108th Street. Police attended and party was shut down.

1:38 a.m. - Report of a possible impaired driver on Railway Avenue near 101st Street. Patrols by police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle,

1:46 a.m. - Report of intoxicated man lying on the road at the 900 block of 103rd Street. Police attended and arrested a 43-year-old man for public intoxication.

2:39 a.m. - Report of several intoxicated persons causing loud noises near Clark Drive. Police patrolled the area but were unable to locate any subjects.

4:19 a.m. - Report of vehicle mischief on the 1700 block of 103rd Street
