Maidstone RCMP are investigating a theft that occurred Jan. 22 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at a rural residence east of Lloydminster. The unknown suspects gained entry by breaking the front window of the residence. The suspects then stole money and jewelry from inside. The jewelry has great sentimental value.
RCMP in Maidstone are also looking into a break and enter that occurred on Feb. 11 between the hours of 2 and 7 a.m. An unknown suspect or suspects broke into the Lashburn Convenience Store and stole an undisclosed amount of food.
Maidstone RCMP are also investigating another theft of a white GMC Sierra that occurred between Feb. 8 and Feb. 10. The vehicle was parked in a residential driveway. The suspects returned the vehicle to the residence in the early morning hours of Feb. 10, doused the vehicle in diesel and attempted to take two other vehicles that were parked on the property. The suspects caused significant damage to all of the vehicles.
The RCMP would like to remind the community to ensure they lock houses, outbuildings, ATVs and vehicles when they are home or away. RCMP are asking the community for their assistance.
