The Maidstone detachment advises the public the current detachment building, located at 112 – 2nd Ave. W. in Maidstone was closed Wednesday and will reopen at the newly built building at 308 - 4th Ave. E. at 8 a.m. Monday.
During this time, the Maidstone RCMP will be unable to provide criminal record checks or other front counter services. This is being done to facilitate the RCMP's move from the old detachment into the new facility.
The Maidstone RCMP will still be responding to calls for service during this time and there will be no disruption to emergency services. For those seeking assistance, should call 310-RCMP for non-emergency calls and for emergency calls please call 911.
