Battlefords RCMP responded to 32 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 4 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 4.
There were two people arrested for alcohol offences, eight disturbance complaints, three traffic complaints, four minor collisions, three false alarms, four nuisance 911 calls, two Mental Health Act complaints and one lost item reported.
Tuesday
• Members made patrols after someone attempted to steal a vehicle on the 1900 block of 101 Street at 1:05 p.m. The vehicle owner had started the engine and went inside a residence for a moment, and when she came out, there was an unknown man, approximately 20 years old, in the driver's seat.
• A vehicle lost control on Jersey Street and went into the ditch around 5:15 p.m. There were no injuries and the vehicle had to be towed from that location.
Wednesday
• Just after midnight, members received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle that was parked on the wrong side of the road on the 500 block of 104 Street. An intoxicated 28-year-old man was with the vehicle, which had broken down and wouldn't start for him. The male had numerous warrants from other detachment areas in Saskatchewan and was held in custody for court in those jurisdictions.
