Man charged after stealing stroller

Battlefords RCMP responded to over 90 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, May 1 and 6 a.m. Saturday, May 2, including:
Friday
- Report at 8 a.m. of a shed and garage spray painted overnight on the 1100 block of 107th Street.  A second complaint received of a residence on the 1200 block of 103rd Street also spray painted.
- Report of a hit and run on the 1800 block of 93rd Street. Suspect witnessed striking a parked vehicle with a yellow Honda at approximately 8:30 a.m. before leaving scene. A suspect has been identified but remains at large at this time.
- Vehicle parked in a parking lot on the 1700 block of 110th Street damaged sometime between 8:50 a.m. and 10:20 a.m., possibly a hit and run.
- Report of an assault at 6:46 p.m. Complainant reporting they were assaulted while walking on Railway Avenue East at approximately 4 p.m. No injuries reported and suspect is known to the victim.  Matter remains under investigation.
- Break and enter reported at a residence on the 600 block of 103rd Street at 8 p.m., believed to have occurred sometime in the early evening or late afternoon. No damage or missing items.
- At 8:19 p.m. a call received from the 1100 block of 109th Street of a dispute between two people.  Learned one male had stolen a stroller from the residence. A 46-year-old man was arrested on scene and is facing charges of theft and mischief. He will make his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court May 25.
- UPDATE: Tiana Paskemin has been found.

Saturday
- A 24-year-old man arrested and charged with uttering threats after a reported domestic dispute at a residence on the Moosomin First Nation. Accused also found to have several outstanding warrants.
- A 20-year-old woman arrested and facing pending charged of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a vehicle check on Douglas Avenue at 5:40 a.m.
Over this time period, 11 persons were arrested for alcohol related offences, police also responded to 15 disturbance complaints, 16 traffic matters, seven alarms, four bylaw complaints, two child welfare matters, one false or nuisance 911 call, one Mental Health Act investigation and one minor collision.
