Man injured in home invasion

North Battleford RCMP are investigating a violent home invasion which occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Three perpetrtors wearing disguises, two men and one woman, entered a home on the 1700 block of St. Laurent Drive in North Battleford armed with a handgun and bat, according to police.

The perpetrators entered the home and attacked a 44-year-old male resident, striking him on the head with the butt end of the gun.

The three suspects fled the property on foot, out the back yard.

The victim was transported to hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening head injuries.
