A 36-year-old man was treated for stab wounds after an incident at Sandy Beach in the early morning hours Friday, according to Maidstone RCMP.
The man was transported to Maidstone Health Complex by EMS. Police say he was treated for wounds to his shoulder and neck and has since been released.
The RCMP say their investigation revealed a 36-year-old woman and the male victim were involved in an altercation. These individuals are known to each other and at the time of the incident, the woman was on court-imposed conditions not to have contact with the man, according to police.
RCMP located and arrested the woman at a residence in Lloydminster Friday.
