The world has changed in major ways ever since Mayor Ryan Bater gave his State of the City address back on March 2.

Only a week later, the global COVID-19 pandemic was declared, throwing the city’s plans for 2020 into upheaval.

Now, Bater is planning to provide State of the City version 2.0 on June 17 between noon and 1 p.m. It will be a virtual event on the Zoom online platform.

The event will focus on impacts to the city since his March 2 address. It includes the COVID-19 impact on the city, the fiscal update, 2020 construction plans and 2020 UPAR information, as well as a moderated question and answer session.

More information about how to register for the event can be found at the city’s website at www.cityofnb.ca.
