Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 24 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, March 12 and 6 a.m. Friday, March 13.
Thursday
• Around 4:15 p.m. officers responded to a call from a distraught woman on Panton Avenue saying that she was injured. WPD Ambulance also attended the residence to assess the woman. The injuries were found to be minor in nature and were the result of a fall.
• There was a report of an assault at 5:02 p.m. at a residence on the 1500 block of 102nd Street. Officers attended and a 34-year-old man was arrested for assault. The man was held in custody and will appear in court on Monday, March 16.
There were also three persons arrested for alcohol related offences, seven disturbances reported, one Mental Health Act complaint, three child welfare complaints and three traffic complaints.
