North Battleford RCMP responded to over 30 calls for service during the time period from 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 to 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7.


Police are seeking information into the following:


Three children, aged 10, 9 and 7, were reported missing starting at 4 p.m. Thursday. The children were believed to be together and were located unharmed at about 10 a.m. Friday and were returned to their homes.


A white 2004 GMC SUV was reported stolen from the 900 block of 105th Street some time between 5:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle was located off St. Laurent Drive later in the day, abandoned with a broken window. The investigation is ongoing. 


Police responded to a report of an assault in progress at 11:30 a.m. in an alley off the 900 block of 103rd Street. Several individuals were alleged to be assaulting a man. A lone man was located nearby suffering from some superficial injuries and transported to hospital for treatment. Three suspects have been identified, all parties are known to each other and alcohol appears to have played a factor in the incident. The investigation is ongoing. 


There was a report of a theft of a bike from a business at the Frontier Mall at approximately 8:30 a.m. The perpetrator was observed on security footage cutting a lock and removing the bike from the area.


A 31-year-old man was arrested shortly after 3 p.m. and is now facing a breach of probation charge after being found extremely intoxicated and fighting with another man off of the 1100 block of 101st St. Four other men were also arrested on scene for public intoxication. 


An unoccupied home on 99th Street was broken into sometime over the previous day or two, with some damage to walls and mirrors reported. 


A break and enter was reported to a storage facility on Carlton Trail sometime between 6 p.m. Nov. 5 and 6 p.m. Nov. 6. Two televisions are reported missing. 


The following are reported to have taken place Friday, Nov. 7: 


A 23-year-old man has been arrested and facing two counts of assault with a weapon and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon after a report of two persons being assaulted with bear spray on 109th Street. The victims are alleged to have been assaulted by the male while walking on 109th Street at about 4:30 a.m.


The accused was located shortly after the incident was reported and arrested without incident. He was very intoxicated at the time of his arrest and is expected to be remanded later into custody and will make his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday.


Members were also called to the 1100 block of 100th Street at approximately 3 a.m. on a report of a man who had been assaulted outside of a licensed premise and needed medical attention. The man was intoxicated and refused to co-operate with an investigation. He was transported to hospital by ambulance suffering non-serious injuries. 


A 16-year-old youth was arrested following a report of a vehicle damaged on 108th Street at approximately 4 a.m.. He was also located in possession of a stolen vehicle. A second 13-year-old youth was also arrested. Both subjects remain in custody and charges are expected later in the day. 


Over the noted time period, North Battleford RCMP also made eight arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other investigations included two false/nuisance 911 calls, one missing person reported who was located within the time period, one child welfare investigation, two minor disturbance calls, one municipal bylaw investigation and one report of a probation violation.
