Missing youth returned safely

Among the 20 calls for service/occurrences responded to by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 was assisting in the location of a 14-year-old who was reported missing. Monday 9:19 a.m.

Among the 20 calls for service/occurrences responded to by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 was assisting in the location of a 14-year-old who was reported missing.

Monday

9:19 a.m. - 14-year-old youth reported missing. Last seen at 11 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. Subject located safe shortly before 1 p.m.

11:26 a.m. - Fraud complaint in regards to bounced cheque.

5:19 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at intersection of Territorial Drive and 100th Street. Regular traffic was affected for a brief period of time. Both vehicles had to be towed from scene. No serious injuries reported. Cause is still under investigation.

5:26 p.m. - Criminal harassment complaint regarding unwanted messages and possible threats.

7:00 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on Pioneer Avenue. One driver remained on scene briefly but refused to exchange information and fled scene. Investigation ongoing.

8:40 p.m. - Assist member of the public by keeping the peace at a residence on 105th Street to pack up effects and move out.

11:26 p.m. - Criminal harassment complaint regarding unwanted messages over the Internet.

Tuesday

2:34 a.m. - 911 call to residence on 104th Street, complaint of a male allegedly yelling and screaming and causing problems. Upon arrival everything was quiet, occupants claimed everything was now OK and police no longer needed. Subject of complaint agreed to go to sleep.

3:43 a.m. - Report through ambulance of a female walking near 107th Street, possibly victim of an assault. Subject was located, suffering from possible frost bite and also indicated to police she had been assaulted. Few details available at this time due to level of intoxication of the victim. Matter remains under investigation.
