Some more results have become known in the rural municipality elections in the province, as a number of divisions have seen individuals elected to council by acclamation.
In the RM of Frenchman Butte, George Petch (Div. 2), Ronald Gory (Div. 4) and Claus Yoiung (Div. 6) are all reelected by acclamation.
In the RM of Mervin, incumbents Lyle McKee (2) and Charles Bodnar (4) and newcomer Victor Hamm (6) are elected by acclamation.
In the RM of Mayfield, newcomer Neil Clayton (2) and incumbents Mitch Starycki (4) and Mike Ostapiw(6) are all acclaimed.
And in the RM of Round Hill, Eric Kuffert is re-elected in Div. 4 and Alvin Kahl is re-elected in Div. 6. The one race going to a full election is in Div. 2 where Gerald Ewancuk and Larry Lavigne are on the ballot for councillor.
Oct. 22 is the election date set for those RM races in the province that will be going to a vote this fall.
