One of the two individuals charged in the first-degree murder of Mark Douglas Jonson has been remanded to his next court date on Sept. 27 in North Battleford.

Nicolas Buck, who also faces several other breach and failure-to-attend-court charges, made his latest appearance Thursday morning before Judge Dan O’Hanlon via closed-circuit TV.

The appearance was a brief one. The adjournment was requested to allow for additional disclosure in the case. Judge O’Hanlon also imposed a no-contact order.

The murder charge stems from July 3 in North Battleford. Buck’s co-accused David Keller had appeared in provincial court just one day earlier by CCTV. Keller’s matters were adjourned to Sept. 5.
