A pedestrian was injured following a morning collision near Cut Knife Thursday.
According to Cut Knife RCMP, at around 7:50 in the morning, they responded to a call of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Hwy 40. The incident happened about 1 km west of Cut Knife.
Police say a truck traveling westbound on Highway 40 struck a pedestrian who was walking in the centre of the highway.
The pedestrian was transported to North Battleford Union Hospital via ambulanceand air-lifted to Saskatoon for further treatment.Police say the pedestrian's injuries are not considered life threatening.The name of the injured individual isl not being released by the RCMP at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say no charges are anticipated at this time against the driver of the vehicle.
