A new name has been announced for the Gold Ridge Centre at the Gold Eagle Casino.
But if you are looking for some new flashy name, you won’t find it here.
The venue will simply be known as the “Event Centre” from now on.
The centre is part of the Gold Eagle Casino complex, which recently underwent a major expansion and renovation to accommodate a new smoking area of the casino.
The new, more generic name should reduce confusion among guests visiting the Gold Eagle Casino to see various entertainment acts, as the Event Centre, as it is now known, has always been part of the casino complex.
The Event Centre will have a number of performances over the coming weeks under its new name.
Comedian Tom Green will be performing on Feb. 19. Musical acts Big Sugar and The Irish Rovers are next up March 4 and March 6 respectively. Laughter & Magic comes in March 17 and The Amazing Kreskin is slated for March 31.
