April 3 is the next court date for Randall Nicotine, facing ten charges in connection to a police chase south of Battleford on March 21.
He made a brief court appearance on Wednesday before Judge Kim Young. Nicotine was remanded by consent to his next appearance April 3. That appearance is scheduled for provincial court in North Battleford and is most likely to be by CCTV from Saskatoon Correctional Centre. A no-contact order regarding two individuals also remains in place.
Nicotine’s arrest came after police responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 4 south of Battleford. The driver was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Nicotine’s charges include flight from police, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, using an imitation firearm in commission of an offence, forcible confinement, child endangerment and others.
