NIPAWIN — Due to the extreme fire hazard conditions, the Town of Nipawin announced a fire ban within the municipality.
The ban is effective June 3.
Under the ban, no person shall light, start, or allow a fire of any kind in the open air, excluding the use of gas or charcoal fueled barbeques.
The lighting or discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited.
