The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is headlining the 6th annual Summer Bash hosted by the Paradise Hill Community Centre Aug. 9.

Nitty Gritty will play at the Paradise Hill Arena as part of their Will The Circle Be Unbroken North American tour.

"We are very fortunate and thrilled to have entertainers of this level coming to a community of our size," says community center board member Neil Macnab.

"The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has been a staple in the country rock music industry for more than 40 years."

Macnab expects the bash to attract more than 1,000 fans.

Tickets are $65 and go on sale June 9 at the Paradise Hill Farm Supply or charge by phone at 306-344-3432.

The Paradise Hill Community Centre Board is raising funds to build a $4.3 million, 22,500 square-foot community center for the village of Paradise Hill. The facility will be attached to the school allowing shared use between the school and the community. Plans are being finalized and construction is slated to start in the fall of 2014.
