North Battleford ceremony to welcome 111 new citizens

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Battlefords Immigration Resource Centre will host a special citizenship ceremony at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford and will welcome 111 new citizens.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Battlefords Immigration Resource Centre will host a special citizenship ceremony at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford and will welcome 111 new citizens.

The event is to take place Friday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m.

The event will be held in the Western Development Museum Summer Hall, Highways 16 and 40.

Following the ceremony, A Taste of Culture, a two-day event organized by the Battlefords Immigration Resource Centre will get underway at the WDM.

The annual multicultural event features international food, marketplace items and entertainment from different cultures.

It runs Friday May 31 and Saturday June 1 from 11 a.m.to 9 p.m.
