One new death is being reported Friday in the provincial government’s COVID-19 report. The death was on a person in the 70-79 age group from the North West zone.
The death bring the North West zone’s total fatalities to 74, as compared with 562 for the province.
The North West’s subzone 1 has five active cases, subzone 2 has 14, subzone 3 has 26 and subzone 4, comprising the Battlefords, has 38, for a total of 83 active cases, six less than yesterday.
There are 10 people in hospital in the North West and recovered cases are up another 15 from yesterday to 4,463.
