One person has died as a result of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 4 Wednesday near the Hamlin grain terminal
According to RCMP the highway was closed with a detour using grid roads during the investigation. The crash happened around 7:55 a.m.
The crash was one of several being dealt with by Saskatchewan RCMP detachments Wednesday morning.
Lumsden: At 6:49 a.m. Lumsden RCMP were called to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 11 at Exit C. Initial information is that a truck rolled four times and is overturned in the ditch of the southbound lane. The lone male driver of the truck has not been transported to hospital.
Kindersley: At 8:33 a.m. Kindersley RCMP was called to a two-vehicle collision on Highway No. 21 approximately 10 minutes north of Kindersley.
Saskatoon: At 8:37 a.m. Saskatoon RCMP was called to a two-vehicle collision approximately 25 kilometres east of the Cherry Hill turnoff on Highway 5.
While weather conditions have not been confirmed as a factor in these collisions, temperatures across Saskatchewan have rose overnight and RCMP say icy and slippery sections exist on roadways.
