On April 2 at approximately 5:30 a.m. Onion Lake RCMP responded to a complaint of an adult male who had been shot at a residence in Onion Lake. The male was taken to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon for treatment for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The RCMP have now charged 18-year-old Tyran Stanley of Frog Lake, Alta. and 19-year-old Joshua Dillon of Onion Lake with several Criminal Code offences.
Stanley has been charged with aggravated assault, using a firearm while committing an indictable offence, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm without a license and careless use of a firearm. Dillon has been charged with aggravated assault, using a firearm while committing an indictable offence, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm without a license and careless use of a firearm.
Both accused will be appearing before a Provincial Court Judge in Onion Lake on Wednesday, April 5. RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
