A Prince Albert man facing numerous weapons and drug trafficking charges remains in custody.
Kevin Ackegan, 40, had another show cause hearing scheduled on June 15 in Prince Albert Provincial Court but remains in custody. He also had hearings scheduled on, May 20, May 1, and April 21.
Ackegan was arrested on Feb. 26 by Prince Albert Police during a traffic stop. Police searched his vehicle and found a machete, two firearms, ammunition, bear spray, a knife, hydromorphone, methamphetamine, and Gabapentin pills, as well as Canadian, U.S., and Jamaican currency.
Ackegan is now scheduled to appear by CCTV in Prince Albert Provincial Court June 29 for a show cause hearing.
