Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 83 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday June 30 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 1.
Tuesday
• Report of mischief to a vehicle parked overnight on the Moosomin First Nation. Windows were smashed.
• Report of mischief to a vehicle parked in the 100 block of 109th Street overnight. The front windshield was smashed.
• Complaint of property damage in the 1100 block of 108th Street. The backyard gate was broken and the back of the residence was spray painted.
• Report of damage to a vehicle parked on the 2100 block of 95th Street. A window was shot out by a pellet gun.
• Report of three children eight to 10 years old checking vehicles on 101st Street.
Wednesday
• Report of a vehicle being damaged overnight while parked on the 1500 block of 103rd Street. The vehicle was pushed up onto the sidewalk by a second vehicle that was abandoned at the scene. Damage to both vehicles. This matter is still under investigation.
Battlefords RCMP responded to several calls of intoxicated people in public and alcohol related disturbances. Other investigations included one – 911 Act call, one false alarm, one animal call, twp Mental Health Act calls, 16 traffic related occurrences, three impaired drivers, one Fire Prevention Act call, two Child Welfare Act call, three missing persons, four Liquor Act offences and 10 disturbing the peace or municipal bylaw related occurrences.
