This was the scene at Centennial Park beside the Civic Centre on Wednesday afternoon. Big Brother Big Sisters and Concern For Youth held a barbecue called Party in the Park. Despite the blustery conditions, there were long lines for the food, with the hot dogs donated by the North Battleford Part-Time Firefighters Association and the IAFF Local 1756 (full time firefighters). There were also plenty of games and activities, including street hockey with the Battlefords North Stars among those in attendance. Photos by John Cairns
