Possible gun shots on 109th Street believed to be fireworks

The North Battleford RCMP detachment received approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The North Battleford RCMP detachment received approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Included in those calls were three false/nuisance 911 calls, one child welfare investigation, five municipal bylaw/disturbance occurrences, two false alarms and three traffic investigations.

Tuesday

7:45 a.m. - Call of an intoxicated man knocking on complainant's door on 93rd Street and not leaving.31-year-old man located and arrested. Held in custody until sober.

11:37 a.m. - Two youth reported missing/running away from a group home. Subjects both returned on their own a short time later.

1:54 p.m. - Report of an assault from the weekend.Suspect and accused are known to each other.Investigation ongoing.

4:14 p.m. - Unwanted person at a residence refusing to leave on Trudeau Street. 33-year-old woman was located and arrested on scene without scene and removed from residence.

5:26 p.m. - Report of several intoxicated person on 101st Street causing a disturbance. Two persons located and arrested.

6:00 p.m. - Report of a vehicle scratched or keyed while parked in a parking lot on South Railway Avenue.

7:08 p.m. - Charges pending on a male suspectafter report of shoplifting at a business on Railway Avenue East.

8:41 p.m. - Complaint of something being thrown at a vehicle while driving on Territorial Drive causing some minor damage.

Wednesday

12:55 a.m. - 78-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 101st Street.

4:40 a.m. - Call of possible multiple gun shots in area of 1000 block of 109th Street.Preliminary investigation indicates likelihood of fireworks.Investigation ongoing.
