The North Battleford RCMP detachment received more than 45 calls between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9.
Included in the calls over the two-day period were two false alarms, two child welfare/family relations investigations, two municipal bylaw/disturbance complains, five false/nuisance 911 calls and four traffic investigations.
Tuesday
2:22 p.m. - Complaint of suspect forging cheques belonging to complainant.All parties known to each other.Investigation ongoing.
2:24 p.m. - 911 call of threats and an assault on 101st Street.Complainant spoken to and was not co-operative with any investigation.Suspect in matter known to complainant.No charges pursued.
6:01 p.m. - Call of an intoxicated man jumping in front of a vehicle in a parking lot on 107th Street, claimed people were after him and could barely stand up.Patrols for subject negative.
6:34 p.m. - Report ofthree youth running away from a youth group home.All three later returned on their own.
9:59 p.m. - Complaint of threats having been made by an unknown person during a confrontation two days earlier on Carlton Street.Investigation ongoing.
10:04 p.m. - A couple calls received of possible gunshots in area of 18th Avenue.Patrols to area made and numerous witnesses spoken to who confirmed someone was setting off fireworks north of the Civic Centre.
Wednesday
12:52 a.m. - Patron ran out on a outstanding bill at a licensed premise.Suspect known to complainant.Investigation ongoing.
3:44 a.m. - 22-year-old woman arrested on outstanding warrants on Ross Crescent.
10:40 a.m. - 41-year-old man arrested and facing one count of theft under $5,000 after attempting to sell a bike he had earlier stolen from a store on Railway Avenue.Subject held in custody and is set to appeared in court Oct. 9 on this and other outstanding matters.
10:43 a.m. - Report of a vehicle damaged while parked at a parking lot on 1100 block of 102nd Street during the morning.
12:54 p.m. - Complaint of several intoxicated persons on 102nd Street.Members located and arrested a 42-year-old man, 49-year-old man, 54-year-old woman and a 41-year-old woman with public intoxication. All held in custody until sober.
3:47 p.m. - 15-year-old youth reported missing from a group home.Located at approximately 11 p.m.
10:06 p.m. - 31-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance after report of a very intoxicated man bothering people on Railway Avenue East.
10:10 p.m. - 78-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 101st Street.
10:31 p.m. - Report of property damage. The complainant advised that a couple of days ago kids were throwing glass bottles at vehicles driving on 15th Avenue. The complainant's vehicle was hit tonight. No damages. Reported for information purposes. Patrols were made of the area, results negative.
Thursday
12:54 a.m. - Complaint of five intoxicated individuals in an alley between 102nd and 103rd Streets. Members attended and four of the five were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. All were lodged until sober.
4:44 a.m. - 911 hang up at an address on Panton Avenue. Members attended and were advised that people were trying to get into the complainant's house. The people were known to her and when she told them to leave and they did. No further need for police involvement.
5:16 a.m. - 911 call from a person wanting to set up an appointment for her friend to provide a statement at the detachment regarding a possible uttering threats investigation. A member called the person back and advised that the friend could attend at any time to provide a statement and the caller was reminded that 911 is an emergency number, not to be used for making appointments.
