Aug. 20-26 was Battlefords Pride Week, with a Pride March on Saturday at 1 p.m. in North Battleford, along with vendors and musical entertainment along the 1100 block of 101st Street throughout that day. The Pride Parade celebrated diversity in gender and sexuality during the second organized Pride Week in the Battlefords. A variety of activities were planned for the week, including a barbeque, a midnight movie and a number of guest speakers at North Battleford Library.
