Between 6 a.m. Sunday, July 19 and 6 a.m. Monday, July 20, North Battleford RCMP responded to approximately 40calls for service, including:
Sunday, July 18
- A 23-year-old male was found asleep on a front lawn on the 1400 block of 105th Street after a complaint was called in at 10 a.m. The male was found to be on a probation order with conditions not to consume alcohol. He was arrested and charged accordingly and held for court the following morning.
- Around 11:30 a.m., a 44-year-old man was arrested for breaching his probation order and was held in custody for court the following morning.
- There was a theft reported from a business in Battleford at 4:17 p.m. It is still under investigation.
- Officers attended a residence in Sweet Grass First Nation around 5 p.m. for a complaint of an intoxicated male in the home that causing problems. The male went to another residence for the night and there were no further issues.
- Officers located an intoxicated male on 31st Street West in Battleford around 10 p.m. who was breaching the conditions of his undertaking to abstain from alcohol and abide by a curfew. He was arrested and charged accordingly and was held for court the next morning.
Monday, July 20
- An officer on patrol found a male walking on 15th Avenue that was intoxicated and on a probation order with conditions not to consume alcohol. He was charged and held in custody to appear in court.
- There was vandalism that occurred at a property on the 1300 block of 110th Street around 3:30 a.m.
- Officers were dispatched to a residence on 30th Street West in Battleford for a disturbance at 5:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found that there had been two people having an argument in the home and no physical altercation had taken place. The couple were separated for the night to prevent any further issues.
- Someone reported that their shed was broken into on the 1300 block of 107th Street within the last couple of days. A lawnmower, tires and rims were stolen from the shed, among other items.
In addition, officers arrested five people for alcohol related offences, there were four disturbances reported, two traffic complaints and four false alarms.
