Quiet 24 hours: RCMP

RCMP in North Battleford are calling shifts between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 quiet, when they were called to less than 20 occurrences. Among those calls were three false alarms. Tuesday 6:29 a.m.

RCMP in North Battleford are calling shifts between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 quiet, when they were called to less than 20 occurrences.


Among those calls were three false alarms.


Tuesday


6:29 a.m. - Vehicle in ditch at Battleford underpass. Icy road conditions at time of call. No injuries reported.


9:47 a.m. - Graffiti reports to murals at a school on 97th Street. Believed to have occurred between noon Dec. 16 and the time of the complaint.


10:05 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 97th Street. Neither vehicle needed to be towed. No injuries reported.


2:30 p.m. - Theft of wallet from a vehicle while parked on 102nd Street. Occurrence reported to have happened a month earlier.


4:33 p.m. - 11-year-old boy reported missing. Determined he had not attended school. Child has history of similar incidents. Addresses of known acquaintances checked. Child located by members shortly after 6 p.m. 


10:35 p.m. - Suspicious male reported checking out vehicles on Martin Crescent. 


10:48 p.m. - Second complaint of male reported going through a vehicle, this time on Scott Drive. Nothing reported missing. Suspect described as 5'6", wearing a red hat and a black jacket. A possible suspect later located by patrolling members in the area. Matter remains under investigation.


11:21 p.m. - Single vehicle collision at intersection of Territorial Drive and 8th Avenue. Driver lost control and car struck two poles, sustaining significant damage. Vehicle towed from scene. Icy road conditions present at time of collision. No injuries to driver.


Wednesday


4:31 a.m. - Unwanted, intoxicated guest at residence on 101st Street. Resolved.
