JAMES SMITH CREE NATION — The Melfort RCMP is investigating the deaths of two James Smith Cree Nation residents.
Police confirmed a 19-year-old man and 19-year-old-woman were deceased when they arrived at the scene outside a James Smith home in the early morning hours of March 21.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit South are conducting the investigation with the assistance of Melfort RCMP and the Prince Albert Forensic Identification Section.
The Melfort RCMP said the incident is not considered a risk to public safety.
