HUMBOLDT — Three new stories are featured in the latest exhibit at the Humboldt Museum and Gallery.
“The latest installment in our ‘Stories of Humboldt’ exhibit series features three new narratives from the region,” said Rachel Wormsbecher, museum supervisor said. “Learn about the Marysburg Royals — an iconic local baseball team, the Heritage Garden — a hidden gem in Humboldt’s downtown, and the tragic story of the murder of Antena Kropa on Christmas Day in 1929.”
The public is invited to attend the exhibit opening at the museum on Wednesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. Guests are also encouraged to share any information about these stories or other topics related to Humboldt and area history.
“This exhibit is part of our ongoing community conversation about Humboldt’s past. We encourage everyone to come out and be a part of it,” Wormsbecher said.
The Humboldt Museum and Gallery, located in a restored 1912 former courthouse, is home to a diverse collection that includes Indigenous artifacts, pioneer history and rotating exhibits that reflect local heritage
