RCMP use video to investigate thefts

From Tuesday, May 9, 6 a.m. to Wednesday, May 10, 6 a.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to 53 calls for service, including the following:

10:17 a.m. – Report of a gas and dash from a city gas station on Carlton Trail. Suspect vehicle described as an older model Ford Escape silver/blue in color. Video surveillance obtained by police, matter still under investigation.

7 p.m. – Complaint of wallet left at a local bank, when owner returned wallet had been taken, and many credit cards were used. Video surveillance obtained, matter under investigation.

4:28 a.m. – Report of theft from a local convenience store on the 1700 block of 100th Street, items stolen were two bags of chips and candy, video surveillance was obtained.

Police responded to 50 other calls for service including Provincial and Criminal Code Statutes
