REACT closes facilities due to winter storm, including Humboldt Transfer Station

The Humboldt Transfer Station and the Regional Landfill in the RM of LeRoy are among the REACT facilities closed on Nov. 17 due to the previous night's storm.

Due to the winter storm, a number of the Regional Authority of Carlton Trail (REACT)'s facilities are closed Nov. 17.

EAST CENTRAL — A number of the Regional Authority of Carlton Trail (REACT)'s facilities are closed today due to the winter storm, including the Humboldt Transfer Station.

The other facilities closed on Nov. 17 include:

  • The Regional Landfill in the RM of LeRoy
  • Bruno Transfer Station
  • Colonsay Transfer Station
  • Hoodoo Landfill
  • LeRoy Transfer Station
  • Quill Lake Transfer Station
  • Watson Transfer Station

"Some overhead runs may be delayed or postponed to tomorrow, but REACT will make every effort to have your bins tipped this week," the waste authority said on its Facebook page. "We apologize for any inconvenience."

Tag-a-bag pickup for the following communities is postponed to Nov. 18:

  • Spalding
  • Pleasantdale
  • Lac Vert
  • Quill Lake
  • Watson
  • Wakaw
  • Cudworth
  • Dana
