A Red Earth man was found dead on the middle of a road near Red Earth Cree Nation.
Carrot River RCMP responded at 6:20 a.m. April 1. The 27-year-old male man was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.
Initial investigation by the RCMP revealed the male may have been struck by a vehicle.
Carrot River RCMP, RCMP Collision Reconstruction, Prince Albert General Investigation Section and the Office of the Chief Coroner will continue to investigate.
An autopsy will take place next week in Regina.
