Robbery on 104th Street

North Battleford RCMP responded to 19 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24. Over that period the RCMP attended several calls in relation to intoxicated people in public.

North Battleford RCMP responded to 19 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Over that period the RCMP attended several calls in relation to intoxicated people in public. Other investigations including one false alarm, one 911 hang up nuisance call and five traffic related occurrences.

Police are seeking information into the following incidents:

Tuesday

• Complaint of an erratic driver on 100th Street. Patrols were made, results negative.

• Complaint of a possible impaired driver filling up vehicle at a gas station on 100th Street. Patrols made, results negative.

• Complaint of undercooked chicken from a local restaurant. Complainant was upset that the restaurant would not hear his complaint in regards to the chicken and send the delivery driver back to take a look at the chicken.

• Another complaint of an erratic driver this time on Highway 4 close to the Don Ross Arena. Patrols were made, results negative.

Wednesday

• At approximately 1:22 a.m., the Battlefords RCMP received a complaint of robbery that occurred on 104th Street. The suspect allegedly struck the victim in the face and stole a small amount of money from him, and the suspect threatened to stab the victim. The suspect was known to the victim and later arrested for this and other related charges and held for court.
