Battleford RCMP responded to over 120 calls for service between 6 a.m. Saturday, April 18 and 6 a.m.  Monday, April 20.

Saturday

• 911 call of a disturbance at a residence on Cousins Drive. Upon arrival the male suspect had already fled the scene. The man was located April 20 and is currently facing one count of assault. 

• A break and enter to a cabin in the Meota district reported at 12:43 p.m.  Damage to a door that appears to have been forcibly pried open. 

• Report of a missing person. Gerald McCallum, 28, reported missing shortly after 9 p.m. Last seen on 101st Street in North Battleford. Subject is also known to frequent Saskatoon and has an address out of Ile a la Crosse. To date all locations checked for subject have been negative.

Sunday

• Call of a rock thrown through a window at 2:48 a.m. at a residence on the 1300 block of 107th Street. 

• A vehicle parked at a parking lot on the Highway 16 bypass had a side window broken sometime near 4 a.m.

• A vehicle stop at 4:42 a.m. on the Saulteaux First Nation has resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old woman. She is facing charges of impaired driving, refusing to provide a breath sample and driving without a licence. Her first appearance in North Battleford court is scheduled for May 11.

• Call of an assault on Railway Avenue East at 4:46 a.m. The male suspect was reported to have assaulted his spouse before fleeing the scene. The man was located a short time later in the city and arrested. He is currently facing charges of assault and obstruction for providing a false name to the arresting officer. 

• Call of an assault from a residence on the 800 block of 108th Street at 8:48 a.m. Male suspect, known to victim, had already fled scene. Investigation is ongoing, Assault charges are currently pending against the 52-year-old suspect.

• A blue 2003 Ford Explorer with licence 346 JLM reported stolen from the 1000 block of 109th Street sometime between 9 p.m. April 18 and 11 a.m. April 19.

• Call made at 1:40 p.m. from a youth facility in North Battleford reporting a disturbance involving one of the youth in custody. A 16-year-old male was arrested on scene by members and is currently facing charges of uttering threats, possession of a weapon and mischief after it was reported he ripped off a mirror in a holding cell and was using it as a weapon against staff.

• Report of an assault at a residence on Douglas Avenue at 3:44 p.m. Woman reports she was scratched in the face during an altercation with another woman who has since left the residence. No medical attention required. Matter remains under investigation.

• A 27-year-old man is facing charges of assault and assault causing bodily harm after a 911 call to a residence on the Saulteaux First Nation. The male suspect was already gone from area upon police arrival, but is known to the victim. He remains at large and a warrant for the man’s arrest is now pending.

Thirteen people were arrested for alcohol related offences, police responded to nine nuisance 911 calls, eight bylaw complaints, 16 disturbance complaints, 27 traffic matters, five Mental Health Act investigations, five other reported missing person who were located, two minor collisions and one alarm.
