This past weekend was a deadly one on Northwest area roads.
In addition to a fatal hit-and-run at Poundmaker First Nation comes word of a vehicle rollover in the RM of Mayfield, north of Maymont Sunday.
The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. Members of Warman RCMP detachment were dispatched to the area. Based on the early investigation, a 17-year-old male driver from Speers was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Warman RCMP and a traffic collision analyst are investigating. Family members have been contacted and the name of the deceased is not being released.
