The STARS emergency helicopter has been dispatched to tend to a single vehicle rollover that happened near Maymont Wednesday afternoon, but was subsequently cancelled.
According to Warman RCMP, police and EMS responded to the single vehicle rollover collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 16, west of Maymont. One man has died at the scene and a woman was transported to hospital by EMS
Also attending the scene is an RCMP collision analyst from Saskatoon.
It is not immediately known what cause the rollover but road conditions might have been a factor. Police describe road conditions as "very icy" on Highway 16 and are asking motorists to "avoid this area until police resources are clear."
