A 22-year-old man suffered serious injuries following a single vehicle rollover on Highway 40 Tuesday.
Battlefords Rural Detachment of the RCMP, Ambulance and Fire Rescue say they responded to the scene of the accident, about 10 km west of Battleford at about 2 p.m.
According to the RCMP, the vehicle's lone occupant was a 22-year-old man from the Battlefords rural area. He was sent to hospital by ambulance and RCMP say he had serious injuries.Police say alcohol was not a factor.
RCMP continue their investigation. Traffic was reduced to one lane of travel in this area and police say traffic restrictions on Hwy 40, 10 kilometres west of Battleford are expected to continue into the evening.
