Teofisto Aclan and his daughter, Ann Marie Alison, didn’t believe it when they scanned their Lotto Max ticket and saw they had won $100,000 on the November 15 Extra draw.

“Is this really true?” Aclan asked Alison after scanning the ticket with the WCLC Lottery Manager mobile app.

To be sure, the Saskatoon residents scanned the ticket a couple more times and again with a self-checker at a local retailer. Aclan and Alison matched the last six digits of the winning Extra number, 4042454.

Neither of the pair has any plans for their winnings and will take some time to figure out exactly how they’ll use it.

“You always see the jackpots being advertised and think about what you would do if you won,” said Alison. “But once you win, you don’t know what you’ll do.”

The winning ticket was purchased from Circle K Convenience at 1 Campus Drive in Saskatoon, Sask.

Saskatchewan Lotteries is the fundraiser for more than 12,000 sport, culture, recreation and community groups.
