Lori Robinson of Saskatoon is glad she decided to change things up a bit. The Saskatoon resident usually plays Crossword or Lucky Lines Zing tickets, but occasionally she’ll pick another game that “looks interesting.”

On a whim, she picked up a 100X The Cash ticket in early May – a decision that netted her a $150,000 win!

“It’s unbelievable,” she laughed. “Never ever, ever have I won anything even close to this!”

Robinson bought her winning ticket at Night Owl Grocery & Confectionary at 9 3310 Fairlight Drive in Saskatoon in early May. When she scratched her ticket and saw she was a winner, she didn’t believe it.

“I thought, ‘That can’t be right,’ ” she recalled. So she double checked on the WCLC mobile app. “Again, I thought, ‘That can’t be right.’ ”

After checking again to shake off any lingering disbelief, Robinson held on to her ticket and claimed her prize earlier this month.

Robinson plans to direct some of her winnings to charities for COPD, ALS and Glioblastoma, then earmark some to do renovations around the house and share with her kids.
