SaskEnergy continues support of Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation's Festival of Trees Carnival and Bazaar Day as a silver sponsor for the North Pole display.
"Their contribution ensures whimsically decorated school trees remain a part of the Festival of Trees," noted Claudette McGuire, executive director of BUH Foundation, adding "SaskEnergy has long been a strong community supporter and we are very pleased to be working with them again.
"Their generous contribution will assist greatly in our fundraising efforts for a new defibrillator for the emergency room and a new ECG machine for the lab."
Festival of Trees Carnival and Bazaar Day is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Gold Ridge Centre in North Battleford. There are numerous children's activities including face painting and a performance by Twink-elle the Clown, pictures with Santa, horse drawn wagon rides, making tree decorations with North Stars hockey players, raffle prizes, and shopping in Santa's Gift Shop as well as live entertainment for all to enjoy.
