School site vandalized

Kitscoty RCMP are looking for two male perpetrators after the Durness School site north of Lloydminster was broken into and vandalized in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Police say entry was gained by kicking the front door in, damaging the frame and door.  The perpetrators also smashed several dishes located in the building and a wooden chair was thrown through a large set of windows causing considerable damage to the windows and window frame. 

The Kitscoty RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the culprits.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime, is asked to contact the Kitscoty RCMP at 780-846-2870, their nearest police service or any local RCMP detachment.  Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS); text messaging to 274637 (CRIMES), start the message with “TIP205” and continue with the tip; or submit a tip online at www.tipsubmit.com.  If information leads to an arrest or a case being cleared, tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
