The man accused of second-degree murder in connection to a stabbing death at a hotel in North Battleford Sept. 30 appeared in court Tuesday.
Nicholas Giroux appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court by video from Saskatoon Correctional Centre.
His case has been adjourned for one more week, to Dec. 18, where he is again scheduled to appear by closed circuit TV.
The adjournment was granted to allow time for defense counsel to obtain and review disclosure in the case.
The next court date for Giroux is scheduled for election and plea, and it is anticipated dates for a preliminary hearing could be set at that time as well.
