Second Melfort driver caught going 102 km/hr in 50 km/hr zone

MELFORT— A 50-year-old man has been charged with driving 102 km/ hr in a 50 km/ hr zone within Melfort city limits— the same as a separate driver did six days prior.

MELFORT— A 50-year-old man has been charged with driving 102 km/ hr in a 50 km/ hr zone within Melfort city limits— the same as a separate driver did six days prior.

The first recent incident was on April 17, at Saskatchewan Avenue and involved an 18-year-old.

The most recent incident took place on April 23, at McDonald Avenue.

The 50-year-old has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act for Speeding in Excess and received a $820 fine. The vehicle was also impounded for seven days.
